Gallery 68 block design & features
Gallery68 is a collection browser built with shadcn/ui. The left column holds a heading and a ruled list of series names with their photo counts and years. The right column shows a tall preview image with a small photo count label.
Hovering or focusing a series name nudges it to the right, darkens it, and swaps the preview to that series' cover, which arrives with a soft blur, fade, and settling zoom. The rest of the list stays muted so the active row is clear.
It is minimal and quick to scan, a good front door to a larger archive split into collections. It needs a cover image, title, photo count, and year per series.
On mobile the preview sits below the list.
