Gallery 65 block design & features
Gallery65 is a horizontal scroll gallery built with shadcn/ui. While the section is pinned, scrolling down moves a long row of photographs across the screen from right to left. Above the row, a heading sits on the left and a short description, numeric counter, and thin progress line sit on the right. Each photo has a caption underneath with its number, title, location, and year.
Wide 16:9 and tall 3:4 frames alternate, which gives the row a rhythm rather than a uniform strip. The movement is smoothed with a spring, and the progress line fills as the row travels. The distance to travel is measured from the row itself, so it adapts to any number of panels and any screen width.
It is a familiar editorial pattern done cleanly, suited to portfolios, case studies, and product stories. It needs a mix of landscape and portrait photographs with a title, location, and year for each.
