Gallery 62 block design & features
Gallery62 is a two-sided image grid built with shadcn/ui. A heading and description sit on the left with a pill toggle on the right that switches between two sets, such as spaces and people. Below sits a grid of square tiles, each with an image from one set on its front and an image from the other on its back.
Switching the toggle flips every tile in a wave that starts at the top left corner. Clicking any tile flips the whole grid in a ripple that spreads out from that tile instead. Flips use a slight overshoot so tiles settle with a small bounce, and the toggle's highlight slides between the two options.
It is playful and satisfying to use, an uncommon way to show two related collections in the same footprint. It needs two equal-length sets of square images and a label for each set.
On mobile the grid drops to three columns.
