Gallery 61 block design & features
Gallery61 is a panorama viewer with a folding transition. Built with shadcn/ui, it shows a heading and arrow buttons above a wide 16:9 frame with the title and caption over a gradient, and a row of thumbnails underneath.
Selecting a new panorama, from the thumbnails or the arrows, makes it unfold across the frame: the image arrives cut into vertical strips that start folded at alternating angles and straighten one after another, with shading lifting from each fold, over the previous image. The active thumbnail gets a ring and full opacity.
It is a distinctive but practical gallery, combining a familiar thumbnail viewer with a memorable transition. It suits architecture, travel, and property work. It needs wide images with a title and caption each, and the number of folds is a prop.
On mobile the strip shows the first four thumbnails, with the arrows reaching the rest.
