Gallery 58 block design & features
Gallery58 pairs a scrolling column of photos with a sticky caption. In this shadcn/ui block, the right column holds a stack of tall 3:4 photographs and the left column holds a panel with a number and location, the current title, a short description, and a row of progress pills.
As each photo reaches the middle of the screen, the caption panel swaps to describe it with a short slide and fade, and the photo itself sharpens to full colour and scale while the others stay slightly muted and enlarged. The left panel stays in view throughout.
It reads like a printed book of plates and suits architecture, interiors, and photo essays. It needs portrait photos with a title, location, and one-line description each.
On mobile the caption sits above the stack.
