Gallery 56 block design & features
Gallery56 is a social-feed style gallery built with shadcn/ui. A centered avatar, heading, and short description sit above a dense three-column mosaic of eight photographs. One lead tile stretches two rows so the pack stays hole-free while the remaining cells stay square.
Hovering a post fades in like and comment counts over a dark scrim, and liking toggles a filled heart. Images fill each cell with cover cropping and a light scale on hover. Gaps stay tight so the set reads like a familiar feed grid rather than a spaced marketing collage.
The look is playful and interaction-light with moderate content needs: eight photographs plus avatar, heading, and engagement numbers. Compared with a silent image grid, the hover engagement chrome is the distinctive layer.
