Gallery 55 block design & features
Gallery55 is a hover-reveal project gallery built with Shadcn UI. A mono eyebrow, heading, and short description introduce a responsive three-column grid of square photographs. On hover, a dark scrim rises and the project title plus short description appear over the image.
Tiles use large rounded borders and cover cropping so subjects stay centered when the overlay appears. Type stays light on the scrim for contrast. There is no modal or filter control in the base pattern; the interaction is hover-only.
The aesthetic is quiet portfolio with low-to-moderate complexity driven by the hover overlay. Content needs a set of titled project images with short blurbs. The reveal treatment is what separates it from a static captioned grid.
