Gallery 53 block design & features
Gallery53 is a featured-plus-thumbs gallery built with Shadcn UI. A mono eyebrow, heading, and short description introduce a two-column layout on larger screens: a large featured photograph on one side and four stacked thumbnails on the other, stretched so the strip matches the featured height. Selecting a thumb updates the featured image and active border treatment.
A small badge can sit on the featured stage for category or status context. Thumbs use equal row heights inside the side column so the strip stays flush with the hero rather than floating short. On smaller screens the featured image stacks above a four-column thumb row of equal height instead of a horizontal scroller.
This is a moderate-complexity, interaction-driven gallery. Content needs four titled images and optional badge copy. Height-aligned side thumbs are the distinctive structure versus a strip under a hero.
