Gallery 49 block design & features
Gallery49 is a collage gallery built with Shadcn UI that presents nine photographs as polaroid-style cards. A mono eyebrow, heading, and short description introduce a responsive grid where cards span one or two columns. Each card has a white mat, soft shadow, caption under the print, and a slight rotation so the set feels hand-laid rather than rigid.
On larger screens the mixed spans create a denser collage rhythm; on small screens cards stack more evenly while keeping the mat and caption treatment. Cover cropping fills the print area inside each frame. There is no lightbox or filter interaction in the base pattern.
The look is playful and editorial with moderate layout complexity driven by spans, rotation, and mat styling. Content needs nine captioned photographs with enough variety that the collage does not read as a uniform product grid.
