Gallery 47 block design & features
Gallery47 is a hero-plus-strip gallery built with Shadcn UI. A mono eyebrow and heading sit above a description that updates with the active thumbnail. The main stage is a large bordered wide image; beneath it, five smaller wide thumbs select the featured shot, and the active title centers under the strip.
Active thumbs gain a stronger border and ring while inactive ones dim slightly. The hero and strip share rounded frames so the composition feels like one control, not a separate carousel and grid. Description copy in the header keeps context above the media instead of overlaying it.
This is a moderate-complexity, interaction-driven gallery. Content needs five titled images with short descriptions. The thumbnail strip is the distinctive interaction versus a previous-and-next-only carousel.
