Gallery 42 block design & features
Gallery42 is a masonry-style gallery section built with shadcn/ui. A left-aligned mono eyebrow, heading, and muted description introduce eleven images that flow through CSS columns, one column on mobile and up to three on large screens. Each tile keeps its own height so the rhythm varies from short strips to tall panels.
Tiles share large rounded corners and a light border, with cover imagery filling the fixed heights. Column gaps and break avoidance keep cards intact as the masonry reflows. There is no hover overlay or lightbox in the base pattern, so the mosaic itself carries the visual interest.
The result reads as an editorial mosaic rather than a uniform grid. Complexity is moderate and mostly CSS-driven through column flow and per-item heights; it needs a larger set of images with mixed vertical weight to look intentional.
