Gallery 39 block design & features
Gallery39 is a listing-style gallery built with shadcn/ui. A heading and subheading sit above a grid with one large photo on the left and four smaller photos in a two by two block on the right, with rounded outer corners and a show all photos button with a count in the bottom corner.
Hovering a photo darkens it slightly. Clicking a photo opens a full-screen lightbox on that exact image, and the button opens it on the first. The lightbox shows one photo at a time on black with a counter, its caption, previous and next arrows, and a thumbnail strip for jumping to any photo. It loops, and supports the arrow keys and swiping on touch screens.
It is a familiar, practical pattern from property and travel sites, well suited to project pages, venues, and products with many angles. It needs a lead image and several supporting photos with captions.
On mobile only the lead image shows, with the button to open the lightbox; the side arrows hide and swiping or the thumbnails move between photos.
