Gallery 39 block design & features
Gallery39 is an interactive gallery block built with shadcn/ui. A full-bleed terrarium lifestyle image opens as the hero plane; on start, that image translates aside to reveal a milestone card carousel of botanical artworks with titles, short descriptions, and CTAs. Reset returns the composition to the opening hero state.
Muted section shell with a cover-cropped hero that yields space through a horizontal slide. Story cards sit on a primary solid for the opener, then switch to photographic backgrounds with a dark bottom gradient for readable type. Hover-revealed circular prev and next controls and a pill-style dot strip appear once the carousel is active on desktop.
This is a distinctive, elaborate gallery pattern driven by interaction and imagery rather than a static grid. Image-driven first, then content-driven cards. The slide-aside reveal before browsing pieces sets it apart from a conventional carousel strip.
On smaller screens drag stays available from the start and the first control advances into the card sequence, keeping the story readable when the desktop reveal motion is less useful.
