Gallery 142 block design & features
Gallery142 is a scroll-driven furniture gallery built with shadcn/ui. The section pins to the viewport with one tall rounded photo card standing in the middle and the next few cards lined up behind it, their tops just showing over its edge. The name of the standing piece and a one-line note sit underneath.
Scrolling down tips the front card forward on its bottom edge. It leans slowly at first, then falls faster and darkens as it turns away from the light, fading out before it lands. The line behind steps forward to take its place, so the next card arrives at the front and its caption cross-fades in. Each card holds still for a moment before it starts to tip, and scrolling back up stands every card up again in reverse. With reduced motion the cards simply swap with a fade.
The domino line suits furniture and homeware shops, makers and interior studios that want to walk through a handful of pieces one at a time. It needs a portrait photo, a name and a short note for each piece.
