Gallery 136 block design & features
Gallery136 is an interactive photo section built with shadcn/ui. The heading and a single line of description sit in the centre, and fourteen small rounded photos of jewellery and accessories circle around them on two concentric elliptical rings, eight on the outer ring and six on the inner. Photos near the front of each ring sit slightly larger and above the ones behind, which gives the flat rings a little depth.
The rings turn continuously in opposite directions and loop seamlessly. Dragging anywhere across the section spins both rings faster in the direction of the drag, and the extra speed eases away until they return to their idle pace. Hovering a photo slows its ring to a stop so it can be looked at, while the other ring keeps turning. Photos always stay upright. On phones the photos join a single taller ring sized to the screen so nothing is clipped, and with reduced motion the rings stay still unless dragged.
It suits jewellers, accessory labels, small makers and lifestyle brands that want an opening or collection section with some movement and almost no text. It needs a heading, one line of copy and a set of square-friendly product photos with alt text.
