Gallery 134 block design & features
Gallery134 is a scrolling photo column built with shadcn/ui and a small WebGL shader. A centred heading and one line of description sit above six full-width 3:2 photos of buildings and interiors, stacked with a narrow white gap between each and rounded corners, on the plain page background.
The effect follows scroll speed. While the page moves quickly the gaps close and the edges of neighbouring photos run into each other: the picture is smeared along the scroll direction and the boundary between the two images breaks into a marbled, liquid swirl. As scrolling slows the blend eases off and the photos come apart again, crisp and separate, with their gaps and corners back in place. A slow scroll barely disturbs them. The canvas only draws while the column is on screen and the page is moving, and the real images stay in the page underneath for screen readers. Without WebGL, or with reduced motion, the column is simply the six photos.
It suits architecture studios, interior designers, photographers and travel brands that want a long photo page with one memorable touch. Each photo needs a source and alt text, and every photo is cropped to the same 3:2 frame.
