Gallery 125 block design & features
Gallery125 is a two column shadcn/ui gallery that reveals each photo as a sliding tile puzzle, built with motion/react. On the left is a square board cut into a four by four grid with one empty slot. On the right are the heading, the photo title with a mono frame detail and a short description, a row of square thumbnails, round previous and next buttons with a mono counter, and a small readout of slides left beside a scramble again button.
Each photo arrives scrambled by a fixed set of random legal slides, then plays them back in reverse so the tiles slide home one at a time. Once the board is solved the missing corner tile drops into place, the gaps and rounded tile corners close into one seamless image and a soft sheen sweeps across it. The thumbnails, buttons and arrow keys change photo and restart the puzzle, and with reduced motion the solved photo is shown straight away.
The motion is playful but brief, with crisp tile slides and a clean finish. It suits photographers, print editions and design portfolios that want a memorable way to reveal a small set of strong images, here a series of black and white studies. It needs a handful of photos with clear shapes, each with a title, a short detail line and a description.
