Gallery 122 block design & features
Gallery122 is a full width shadcn/ui gallery driven by scroll. A heading and intro open the section, followed by a tall pinned area where six architectural photographs, from an angular concrete hall to a pavilion lit at night, sit around a central feature photo like a loose pin board.
As you scroll, the section stays pinned while every photo scales up from the centre of the screen at its own rate. The surrounding photos zoom faster and slide off past the edges one after another, while the centre photo of a house glowing in fog grows more slowly until it covers the whole viewport. A dark gradient then builds over it and the title, description and a pill link fade up from the bottom, and the section closes with some breathing room before the next block. Positions and sizes switch for narrow screens so the cluster still frames the centre photo on a phone. When reduced motion is preferred the section drops the scroll effect and shows the feature photo with its caption above a simple grid of the other six.
It suits galleries, photographers, architects and any brand that wants to lead into one hero image from a wider body of work. It needs one wide feature photo with a title, description and link, plus six supporting photos.
