Gallery 117 block design & features
Gallery117 is a full-width shadcn/ui slideshow built like a set of stories. A heading and short description sit above a large rounded frame with arrow buttons on the right. Inside the frame, a row of thin segmented bars and a mono counter run along the top, and the title, a one-line note and exposure details for the current photo sit along the bottom over a soft dark gradient.
Each new photo is revealed through ten vertical columns. They rise from the bottom in a staggered sequence to uneven heights so the new picture briefly reads as a city skyline, hold for a beat, then climb to fill the frame. Going backwards runs the stagger from the right. The current bar fills over five seconds and then advances. Hovering or pressing and holding the frame pauses it with a small Paused label, tapping the left third goes back and tapping elsewhere goes forward, and arrow keys work when the frame is focused. With reduced motion the columns are replaced by a short crossfade.
The tone is editorial and graphic, and the skyline reveal suits architecture, city guides, real estate or photography series. It needs a photo, a title, a short note and a detail line such as exposure or location for each frame.
