Gallery 109 block design & features

Gallery109 is a centred shadcn/ui gallery built like a camera's depth of field. Six landscape photos run from a fern at 0.5 m to peaks at infinity and are stacked in a staggered deck, with the front photo large at the lower left and each one behind it smaller, higher and further right. Below the deck sit the title and focus distance of the front photo and a ruler styled like a lens focus ring.

The photo in focus always sits in the front slot and is the only sharp one; every other photo blurs and fades by how far back it sits. Clicking any photo slides it forward to the front as focus racks to it, while the photos that were in front slide out past the front and come back in at the rear. Dragging the ring sideways moves the deck continuously and settles on the nearest stop on release, and the ring also works as a slider with arrow keys, Home and End.

The tone is technical but quiet, with thin tick marks, distance labels and a single marker line. It suits photography, optics or outdoor brands that want to tell a near-to-far story. It needs a photo, a title and a distance label for each layer.
