Gallery 102 block design & features
Gallery102 is a two column shadcn/ui gallery built around a deck of close-up product finish photos. On one side the cards are stacked with each one shifted to the side and scaled down behind the front card. On the other sit a heading, the current finish name and texture with a short description, a row of round image swatches for every finish, round previous and next buttons, and a mono counter.
Moving forward tucks the front card behind the deck as the next card slides out to the front, and moving back pulls the last card forward again. Cards further back fade a little so the stack reads as receding. The caption cross-fades on each change, the swatch for the current finish gets a ring, and clicking any swatch jumps straight to it. Arrow keys work while the deck has focus.
The look is soft and product-focused, with the photography carrying all the colour against a neutral page. It suits a range of colours or materials more than general photos. It needs a close-up image, a name, a texture label, and one or two sentences for each item.
