Coverflow 57 block design & features
Coverflow57 is a cover flow built with shadcn/ui and motion, shown here as a clothing brand's new season of hoodies, jackets and summer looks. A plain heading and one short line sit at the top with a small flow and grid toggle under them. Below, the photos run as a classic cover flow: the centre photo is flat and the rest turn away on both sides and fade into the page.
Dragging sideways moves the flow with inertia and snaps to the nearest photo, each wheel gesture steps one photo, and the arrow keys, Home, End and a click on any photo work too; the flow loops endlessly. Pressing the grid icon sends every photo from its place in the flow into a responsive grid, one after another, turning flat and shrinking into its cell as the stage resizes around them. Clicking any photo in the grid morphs everything back into the flow with that photo in the centre.
It suits shops, studios and portfolios that want a browsable showcase without giving up an overview of everything. It needs only a set of portrait photos with a short title each for screen readers.
