Coverflow 49 block design & features
Coverflow49 is a curved panorama carousel built with shadcn/ui and motion, shown here as a team section. A plain centred heading sits above a wide stage of eleven 4:5 portraits, and a single name and role sit underneath. There is no other text on screen.
The portraits line the inside of a horizontal ring rather than its outside, as if you were standing near its axis. The facing portrait is flat and centred, and the ones either side turn inward and grow slightly as they curve toward you before wrapping out of view past both edges, with clear gaps between them. The ring turns slowly on its own and pauses when the pointer is over it. Dragging sideways turns it with inertia and snaps to the nearest face, each wheel gesture steps one place, the arrow keys, Home and End work when it has focus, and clicking a side portrait brings it round. Hovering any portrait fades its name and role in below; otherwise the caption follows the facing person. It loops endlessly in both directions.
It suits agencies, studios and startups that want a team page with a little more presence than a grid. It needs a portrait, a name and a role for each person.
