Coverflow 41 block design & features
Coverflow41 is a drum carousel built with shadcn/ui and motion, shown here as a component spec sheet for an engineering company's wind turbine platform. The heading and a short description sit at the top left. On the right, a drum of six turbine renders sits straight on the page background: the hub, nacelle, rotor, spinner, generator and yaw module. A small numbered index runs down the panel's left edge, and the spec sheet for the facing part sits below the heading with up and down buttons and a counter.
The renders sit on the face of a cylinder turned on its horizontal axis, sixty degrees apart with a clear gap between them, so the facing part is flat and full size while its neighbours above and below tilt away and fade into the background. Dragging vertically turns the drum with inertia and snaps to the nearest part, each wheel gesture over the panel turns it one step, and the arrow keys, Home, End, the buttons and the numbered index all work too. The drum loops endlessly in both directions, and the model name, part, summary and three spec rows cross-fade as each part comes round.
It suits industrial, engineering and hardware companies that want to walk through a product's parts or a product line. It needs a render or photo, a model name, a part name, a one-line summary and a few spec rows for each item.
