Coverflow 4 block design & features
Coverflow4 is a widescreen take on the 3D image ring, built with shadcn/ui. A short centered heading sits close above a ring of landscape 16:9 photographs arranged around the inside of a cylinder. The front image faces the viewer while the rest curve away to both sides and around the back, and the title and location of the front image sit just underneath with a zero-padded counter.
Dragging or swiping spins the ring with momentum, and it eases to rest with an image centered. When nobody is interacting, it turns slowly on its own, resuming a couple of seconds after a drag settles. The caption fades up gently each time a new image reaches the front.
The wide frames give it a cinematic, panoramic feel that suits architecture, interiors, travel, and film stills. It is motion-led but simple to fill, needing landscape images with a title and location each. The arrow keys rotate one image at a time when the ring is focused.
On small screens the images shrink and the ring tightens so neighbors still peek in from the edges.
