Coverflow 34 block design & features

Coverflow34 is an orbit cover flow built with shadcn/ui and motion. Six landscape photos travel on a single ring that stands upright and is turned away at an angle, so the orbit reads as an ellipse sweeping from the front of the stage to the back. The heading, description, caption and controls sit in a column beside the orbit, and there is nothing else on the stage but the photos.

Every photo stays flat to the viewer as it travels, and its size, brightness and focus follow its depth, so the photo at the front is the largest and sharpest and the ones round the back are small, dimmed and slightly blurred. Choosing a photo turns the ring on a spring until that photo reaches the front, and the order loops without end in both directions. Clicking a photo takes the short way round, the arrow buttons and arrow keys step one photo at a time, one scroll gesture over the stage moves one step, and dragging turns the ring by hand before it settles on the nearest photo. The caption and counter follow the front photo while the ring is moving.

It suits travel, outdoor and hospitality brands that want a calm, spatial way to browse a small set of places or routes. Each item needs a landscape photo, a title, a short description and two short stats.
