Coverflow 30 block design & features
Coverflow30 is a shadcn/ui cover flow that treats a photo series as a folded strip of paper. The heading and a short description sit above a white rounded stage, and inside it a row of portrait photos of pale towers against a flat sky runs edge to edge through a viewfinder marked by four corner brackets. Below the strip a footer holds the current title, a mono counter with exposure details and round previous and next buttons.
Only the frame inside the viewfinder lies flat. Every other frame is folded on its edges in alternating mountain and valley folds, so the strip zigzags away in perspective with the frames facing away from the light shaded darker. Dragging the strip sideways slides it through the viewfinder, each frame unfolding smoothly as it approaches the centre and folding up again as it leaves, and on release it springs to the nearest frame with a small pulse of the viewfinder brackets. The strip is a loop, so it keeps going past the last frame, and a frame only jumps from one end to the other while it is faded out at the edge. Clicking a folded frame takes the short way round to it, and the buttons and arrow keys move the strip too.
The look is graphic and photographic, with pale, airy images on a clean white stage. It suits photo series, architecture and design portfolios, and editorial features with a strong set of images. It needs a photo, title and a short detail line, such as camera settings, for each frame.
