Coverflow 29 block design & features

Coverflow29 is a minimal looping cover flow built with shadcn/ui and Motion. The photos line up one behind another along the depth axis, so the block reads like looking down a corridor of frames. The front photo is large and sharp, and four or five more rise behind it toward a vanishing point, each smaller, slightly blurred and a little paler than the one in front. Two small round arrow buttons sit centred below, and there is no other text on the page. The demo shows an autumn lookbook of tailored coats, satin and winter layers.

Going forward, the front photo grows, blurs and fades as it flies past the viewer while the whole line moves one step closer on a spring. Going back reverses it, with a photo flying in from behind the viewer to take the front. The mouse wheel or trackpad moves one step per gesture while the pointer is over the photos, a vertical or horizontal drag with a flick moves through several, touch uses horizontal swipes so the page still scrolls, and the arrow keys and buttons step one at a time. Clicking a photo further back jumps straight to it. The line loops endlessly, and the current photo name is announced to screen readers.

It suits fashion labels, photographers and studios that want a gallery that feels deep and quiet rather than busy. Portrait photos with a clear subject work best, since only the top band of each photo behind the front one shows. Each item needs an image and a name, and a label prop sets the accessible name for the carousel.
