Coverflow 23 block design & features
Coverflow23 is a lookbook-style cover flow built with shadcn/ui. A small tracked eyebrow and a large serif heading sit above a row of tall portrait cards. The centered card is shown at full size with a look number and title in its lower corner, while the cards on each side recede, turn slightly, and dim. Below the row sits a round play and pause toggle next to a dot for every look.
The palette stays in black and white to match the editorial photography, with soft rounded corners and long eased transitions. The active dot is wrapped in a thin ring that fills over the autoplay interval, so it is always clear when the next look will arrive. Hovering the stage pauses the timer and leaving it resumes.
The tone is quiet and fashion-forward, closer to a magazine spread than a product carousel. The infinite loop wraps cards around both edges, so there is never a dead end. It needs a set of portrait photographs with a label and title for each, and the interval is a prop.
