Coverflow 20 block design & features
Coverflow20 is built around the feel of dragging. This Shadcn UI block pairs a large, tight headline and short description with a row of portrait photos laid out as a cover flow, and a slim progress line between two mono counters underneath.
The row follows the pointer directly. Cards bend in the direction of travel based on how fast they are thrown, then straighten as they settle. Releasing the drag projects the throw forward and springs onto the nearest card, and pulling past the first or last card meets rubber-band resistance. The progress line fills smoothly as the row moves.
It feels physical and responsive, closer to a native app gesture than a click-through carousel. Spacing adapts to the width of the section, and the arrow keys step one card at a time when the row is focused. It needs a set of portrait images with short titles.
