Coverflow 16 block design & features
Coverflow16 is a restrained take on the cover flow. This Shadcn UI block opens with a ruled header that holds a small title and a mono position counter. A row of landscape frames runs the full width of the section, with the centered frame sharp and in full color while its neighbors shrink, blur, and turn gray. Under the row sit the current caption and a set of thin segmented progress lines.
There is no 3D rotation here. Focus is created entirely with scale, blur, and desaturation, and every change uses a slow, smooth ease. The active progress line fills over the autoplay interval, earlier segments stay filled, and the timer pauses while the pointer or keyboard focus is inside the carousel.
The overall feel is calm and gallery-like, with very little chrome around the images. It is a simple block to fill, needing only a set of landscape photographs and short captions, and the interval is a prop.
