Coverflow 15 block design & features
Coverflow15 is a full-screen, streaming-style poster browser built with shadcn/ui. The left column carries the active film's title, a rating with year, genre, and runtime, a short synopsis, and two buttons for watching the trailer and adding to a list. The right column shows a cover flow of tall 2:3 posters, with neighbors turning away in perspective on either side.
The details panel animates out and back in whenever the selection changes, and posters swing into place on a long, soft ease. Posters have rounded corners, a fine ring, and deep shadows, and the section sits on the plain page background so it drops cleanly into any layout.
The look is cinematic and focused, borrowing from TV and streaming interfaces. Clicking any visible poster brings it to the front, the arrow keys move through the set when the cover flow is focused, and the loop wraps in both directions. It needs a poster image plus a title, rating, year, genre, runtime, and synopsis for each film.
On mobile the posters sit above the details.
