Awards 8 block design & features
Awards8 is a portfolio awards section built with shadcn/ui. A tracked label, a display heading, and a short note sit in the container. Below them, two lines of award names and years run edge to edge in opposite directions, with the page color fading in at both sides.
The names are set at display size and medium weight. Years are smaller and quieter, sitting on the same baseline. The lines pause when hovered. There are no cards, icons, or photographs.
This follows the running-type treatment common on studio portfolio templates: the citations are the poster, and the heading only introduces them. Complexity is moderate and content-driven. It needs a short list of award names and years. Motion comes from the marquee.
On small screens the type scales down and the lines keep moving across the full width.
