Shadcnblocks acquires Kibo UI

Shadcnblocks.com is the world’s largest and best block library for shadcn/ui — and today, we’re excited to share a big milestone: we’ve acquired Kibo UI, the number one component library for shadcn/ui.

Kibo UI brings a powerful set of production-ready building blocks to our ecosystem: 41 meticulously crafted components and over 1,000 component variants. Together, we’re doubling down on speed, quality, and developer experience for teams building with shadcn/ui.

A special partnership

It’s a pleasure to work with Hayden Bleasel — the creator of Kibo UI and AI Elements, and a long-time leader in the shadcn/ui community. Hayden’s craft and pragmatism have made Kibo UI a go-to library for teams who care about design systems and developer velocity. We’re thrilled to carry that momentum forward.

We’ll maintain and extend Kibo UI under the Shadcnblocks umbrella with a clear roadmap:

• Maintain the open-source In the immediate future, nothing changes with Kibo UI. It’s still completely open source and accessible on Github and the shadcn registry npx shadcn add @kibo-ui
• Hundreds of new components and patterns over time — from complex, data-heavy UI to refined marketing blocks.
